PETALING JAYA: Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) will announce a profit distribution for the year at the beginning of the second quarter.
In a statement, TH informed that the announcement after its financial position has been audited and approved.
“Previously the profit distribution was carried out in the first quarter of the year based on the initial financial position.
“This decision takes into account the recommendations of improvement as well as the initial feedback of the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI), in line with TH’s efforts to strengthen the operations, management and governance of the country’s Hajj institutions,” he said.
According to the statement, TH will strive to provide a sustainable and stable profit distribution, which is in line with its mandate of establishment.
“TH remains committed to managing the savings of Malaysian Muslims for the purpose of completing the fifth Pillar of Islam which is Hajj,” he said. – UTUSAN
